Steering Committee
Asia Tax Forum Steering Committee
During the 6th ATF meeting, delegates attending the government only session expressed the need for a central coordinating point for guidance of the technical program of ATF. A Steering Committee was formed during the meeting to collectively develop a research agenda in which ITIC, PFIP, and the Center for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES) can work with the public sector participants on special projects. Our aim is for this to be a shared responsibility between the ATF Secretariat, composed of the above organization and the members of the Steering Committee.
The steering committee holds regular meetings and teleconferences to ensure that issues and priorities of the member countries are reflected in the ATF research agenda. The committee would also arrange for continuous feedback on the technical program and events organized. ITIC is working to develop a feedback questionnaire to seek input from all stakeholders, and this will be sent to all member nations after review by the committee.
