Dr. Didik J. Rachbini is currently the Special Advisor of Coordinating to the Minister of Economy (May 2014-present); a Lecturer, University of Indonesia, post graduate (1993-present); Chairman of the Institute for Assessment, Research and Development, KADIN, Chamber of Commerce (2011-Present) and Member of KEN, National Economic Committee, appointed by the President to advise economic policies (2012-present). He is also a Member of MWA IPB, Bogor Agriculture University (2012-present), for which he served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees from 2007-2012.

Prior to these positions, Dr. Didik was a Consultant of Asian Development Bank (ADB), 2011-2012; Chairman (2006-2011) and (2011-2016), Paramadina Foundation (University); Member of Parliament, MPR (1999), DPR (2004-2009), Chairman Commission VI, Trade, Industry, SOEs (2005-2007), Vice Chairman Commission X, Education and Tourism (2007-2009); and KPPU (Business Competition Commission), Commissioner, 2000- 2004. He also held positions as Dean, Faculty of Economics (1995-97), Vice Rector (1997-2005), Mercu Buana University; Director, INDEF, institute for Development of Economics & Finance, Jakarta (1995-2000); Consultant FAO and UNDP (1992-94); Researcher & Consultant (1985-1994), Chairman of Research Program (1991- 1992), Deputy Director, (1992-1994), LP3ES, Jakarta; and Assistant Lecturer (1982-83), Lecturer (1983-1985), IPB Bogor. Dr. Didik’s work experience in business includes: President Commissioner, PT. PRIDE Indonesia Consultant (2009-Present); Independent Commissioner, First Media (2008-Present), Linknet (2010-present); President Commissioner, PT Humanika Consultindo (2007-present); President Commissioner, PT Kemila Bintang Timur (2006-2008); Commissioner, PT Angkasa Pura I (1998-2000); Commissioner, PT Indefera Madani (1994-present); and President Director, PT Insan Selaras (Management Consuntant) (1991-1994).

He received his Ph.D. in Development Studies from Central Luzon State University, the Philippines in 1991.
