Joosung Jun is a professor of economics at Ewha Womans University, Korea. He has served as a member of Presidential Council on National Economy, chairman of Council on State-owned Asset Sale, a member of Tax Reform Council, and president of Korean Association of Public Finance. He has been an active contributor to major Korean dailies and is currently an adjunct news commentator at the Korea Broadcasting Service. Jun has held appointments as an assistant professor at Yale University, and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He has been a visiting professor at the IMF, the University of California, San Diego, and the NBER. Jun received his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
