As a nonprofit research and education organization, training and developing future leaders in economics and public policy is an important part of ITIC’s mission. We are proud to announce our 2023 class of interns, a diverse group joining ITIC from universities across the US, Canada and Europe.

Kamilla Dova is a driven social media intern pursuing a major in software and media applications with a minor in marketing at Drexel University, which is complemented by studies in digital strategies at the University of Pennsylvania. Possessing a keen sense of design and a dedication to media and innovation, she brings experience from her previous internship at DVNC gaming company.

Dylan Gooding is a master’s student in Security Studies at Georgetown University. He holds a BA in Economics and Government & Law from Lafayette College. His academic interests lie in transatlantic relations, Russian foreign policy, European integration, and Eurasian energy security. He plans to work in international security in the future.

Annie Rubinson is a senior at Tufts University studying international relations with a concentration in international security. This past summer, she studied Advanced Chinese at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. Before joining ITIC, Annie interned at the American Enterprise Institute and the U.S. Department of Commerce. After graduation, Annie hopes to pursue a career in Chinese foreign policy research.

Natia Skorupski is a cum laude graduate of Fordham University with a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in Russian. With language proficiency in both German and Russian, she has extensive knowledge in European and Russian issues. As foreign policy and international relations are her prime interests, she is eager to expand her field of knowledge throughout her developing professional career. In the near future, she hopes to attend graduate school for international relations.

Tsung-Han (Henry) Tsai is a senior at George Washington University majoring in International Affairs and Economics. He was born and raised in Taiwan, speaks fluent Mandarin, and is currently learning Japanese. He is interested in international economics, the US-China rivalry, supply chain resilience, and, more recently, global energy security. After graduating from GWU, Henry aims to further his work in international economic policy in DC and continues to explore how geopolitical conditions affect different markets worldwide.

Saranna Zhang is a rising junior at New York University majoring in International Relations and Journalism. Originally from Houston, Texas, she is interested in foreign policy and issues related to social and economic justice, as well as storytelling and reporting. After she graduates, she hopes to attend law school and pursue a career as an international lawyer.

Yihong (Peter) Zhang has completed his Master's degree in European and Eurasian studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs in 2024. He also received his B.A. in international relations and Russian language & literature from the University of Rochester in 2022. Yihong is fluent in Mandarin, Russian, and English, and has lived in many countries, including China, Russia, the UK, and the U.S. His research focuses on Eurasian politics, Russian domestic politics and foreign policy, as well as EU-Russian relations. He plans to continue his work in international policy in the future.
